Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Born in 1976 in Gaziantep, Mehmet Tuncay Yıldırım completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Gaziantep.

In 1994, he graduated from Muğla University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1998.

He graduated in 1999 as an honor student due to his academic success.

In 1999, he completed his short-term military service in Lüleburgaz and received 1 year of English education in Bournemouth, England in 2000.

He worked in the private sector for a while and founded T.T.MÜHENDİSLİK DOĞALGAZ ISITMA SOĞUTMA HAVALANDIRMA SİSTEMLERİ MAKİNA TEKSTİL TURİZM SANAYİ VE TİCARET LLC in 2004, which operates in the field of mechanical installation.

Yıldırım is also active in the construction sector with MTY ENERJİ İNŞAAT TAAHHÜT SANAYİ VE TİCARET INC.

Since 2009, Yıldırım has been a member of the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Assembly, and since 2015, he has been a member of the Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone Entrepreneurship Committee and Supervisory Board, representing the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce.

In the 2018 Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Elections, Yıldırım, who was elected as a member of the Assembly for the 3rd time from the Installation and Excavation Services Occupational Group No. 30, was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce on April 10, 2018.
He carries out his duties as:

- The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye Board of Directors Member,

- Member of the Board of Directors of İpekyolu Development Agency,
- Member of the Board of Trustees of Gaziantep Development Foundation,
- TSE Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors

Yıldırım is fluent in English and is married to Zuhal Yıldırım and has two daughters, Elif Naz and Zeynep.
