Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

In cooperation with the Carbon Pricing Department of the Directorate of Climate Change and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye; an online consultation meeting was held with company representatives in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals processing sectors regarding the Emission Trading System planned to be implemented in the upcoming period.​

With the participation of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk, an online information meeting was held on TOBB Entrepreneurship Information System B2B Collaboration Portal, Türkiye's Entrepreneurial Women Power Competition and Rising Brands Project.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Council Members Information Seminar, spanning September 21-22, 2024, was held at TOBB Twin Towers.​

“Green Industry Project Support Calls Information Meeting” was held to explain the details of TÜBİTAK calls within the scope of the Türkiye Green Industry Project, which is carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the support of the World Bank.​

In the first 8 months of 2024, compared to the first 8 months of 2023, the number of established companies decreased by 14.2%, the number of established real person commercial enterprises decreased by 28.6%, the number of established cooperatives decreased by 13.2%.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council meeting; With the participation of TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç, the meeting was held at Ankara Union Center with the participation of sector representatives under the chairmanship of Council President Ali Kantur.​

Türkiye Petroleum and Petroleum Products Industry Council convened under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil to elect the new term presidency council.​

The first TIR Carnet was given to the transporter, a member of Düzce Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on 13.09.2024.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) E-Commerce Council Meeting took place in Ankara under the chairmanship of Ozan Acar, President of the Council, with the video conference participation of TOBB Board Members Selçuk Öztürk and İbrahim Burkay responsible for the council as well as the attendances of Çağatay Yasin Karaboğa, Head of E-Commerce Department of the Ministry of Commerce, Deniz Okan Savaş, Head of Exemptions Department, Sezen Leventoğlu, Head of Quality Infrastructure and Market Surveillance Department, and Göksu Tülümen, Head of EU Technical Legislation Department.​
