TOBB Turkey Paper and Paper Products Industry Council convened to discuss the issues of monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gases; high-grade paper pulp export protection, review of its taxation and relaying suggestions to the representatives of the Ministry of Economy. Council Members reported that their competitive power is weakened due to the low-quality imported paper.​

Turkish Research and Business Organizations Office’s (TuR&Bo) 41st Coordination Council Meeting was held with TOBB Board Vice President Halim Mete presiding over it. Also attending the meeting were TÜBİTAK Vice President Dr. Mehmet Alper Kutay, KOSGEB Vice President Tuna Şahin, TESK Secretary General Naci Sulkalar and stakeholder parties.​

National Employment Strategy (2014-2023) 1st Monitoring and Review Council convened under Labor and Social Security Ministry Undersecretary Ahmet Erdem at the Ankara Meyra Hotel on the 24th of December, 2014. TOBB was represented by TOBB Board Member and Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange President Ebubekir Bal.​

TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç attended the 2015-2019 National e-Government Strategy and Action Plan Project Introduction Meeting held at the Ankara JW Marriott Hotel.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 13,29%, 2,78% and 13,09%, respectively, according to the previous month.​

Ivory Coast Foreign Affairs Minister Charles Koffi Diby was TOBB’s guest at a business dinner hosted by TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz. Yavuz briefed him in regards to TOBB’s structure and activities, TOBB ETU and TEPAV.​

TOBB Board Vice President Ender Yorgancılar attended the Export Oriented Production Strategy Assessment Council Meeting held by the Ministry of Economy. Yogancılar stated that it was imperative to improve the investment environment wherein 3 million are presently in need of employment, reporting that TOBB has provided its support to efforts to this end and will continue to do so.​

TOBB Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council convened. Council President Yağız Eyüboğlu analyzed the EPDK Sector Reports, assessing the state of the sector. He reported that sales of automobile LPG has increased while bottled and bulk gas sales have shrunk.​

Nicaragua’s Ambassador to Ankara, Mario Barquero Baltondano visited TOBB and met with Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 15,63%, 10,00% and 18,44%, respectively, according to the previous month.​
