Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Hakan Ülken, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 30th Executive Board and 20th General Assembly Meetings of the Economic Cooperation Organization Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECO CCI) held in Karachi, hosted by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and delivered a speech at the Opening Session.​

The Turkey & Netherlands Cooperation Association (DBA) delegation, led by Dutch Ambassador to Ankara Joep Wijnands, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with TOBB Board Member Faik Yavuz.​

Hakan Ülken, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), participated in the 2nd Sustainable Tourism Forum organized in Karachi by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD) in cooperation with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and delivered a speech at the panel titled “Transforming Tourism for Social Development.”​

As part of the visit of Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat to the TRNC, TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu, TRNC Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova, and TRNC Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Hüseyin Çavuş visited the construction site of the Cold Storage Project to be implemented by TOBB in Güzelyurt-TRNC. TOBB Board Member M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu also attended the visit and provided information about the work. ​

The Border Carbon Adjustment Mechanism (SKDM) Working Meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with the participation of Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu and Gerassimos Thomas, Director of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (DG TAXUD).​

TOBB Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the TRNC Economic Organizations Meeting held in Girne under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz.​

The TOBB Türkiye Software Council held its first Council meeting of 2026, chaired by Council President Ertan Barut and attended by Council Members and Committee Chairs, with TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci participating online.​

The 2nd TOBB Young Entrepreneurs High Council Meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building, chaired by TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council President Turgut Konukoğlu, with the participation of TOBB Board Members Hakan Ülken and Mehmet Tuncay Yıldırım.​

The TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Marmara Regional Meeting was held at Bursa Uludağ Swiss Hotel Business School, hosted by the TOBB Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Council, which operates under the coordination of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Civil Aviation Council held its first meeting of the year, chaired by Council President Bilal Ekşi, with the participation of TOBB Vice Chairman Şekib Avdagiç and Civil Aviation General Director Prof. Dr. Kemal Yüksek, as well as representatives from the public and private sectors.​
