TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they, as business circles, want to strengthen the economy aspect, in addition to political and military aspects, of Turkey and US relations by trading and investing more; that the strength of Turkey-US relations is as important for Europe and the Middle East as it is for Turkey and the US.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they found statement made by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım regarding the decisions of the Economic Coordination Board the measures and supports for investment, production, employment and exports to be positive and morale boosting.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Kemal Ökem, Turkey's Ambassador to Tel Aviv, who will take office on December 12th.​

Speaking at the partnership agreement ceremony between MADO Yasar Ice Cream and Food Products Co. Inc., Venture Capital Bank and Al Sraiya Holding, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that investors in Turkey would never lose. While Hisarcıklıoğlu urged entrepreneurs in Turkey to brand local values, to open up to the world; he invited foreign investors to invest in Turkey.​

Holding its 35th meeting, the Turkey-European Union Joint Consultative Committee (JCC), convened for dinner hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

Speaking at the Turkey-EU JCC meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that a negative outlook is being formed in the international arena in regards to the investment environment in Turkey in recent years and said, “Our economy stands robust as ever. Those who invest in Turkey will always profit in all circumstances.”​
