TOBB’s aid campaign for democracy martyrs reaches 27m TRY

Speaking at the Joint Council Meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that TOBB’s aid campaign for democracy martyrs has reached 27 million TRY. Stating that the campaign is still underway, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “This community has once again broken records in the campaign began by our government for the veterans and martyrs of the historic fight for democracy. TOBB, with its Chambers and Exchanges, has collected 27 million Turkish liras in donations and continues to collect more. I am immensely proud of this community.”​

Aksaray’s agri-goods to open up to the world

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, attended the foundation laying ceremony for the livestock market in Aksaray and the opening of the Aksaray Commodity Exchange Agriculture and Commerce Headquarters.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Yahyalı Kapuzbaşı Waterfalls

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with Environment and Urbanism Minister Mehmet Özhaseki and Forestry and Water Affairs Minister Veysel Eroğlu, visited the Kapuzbaşı Waterfalls in Kayseri. Attending the talks aiming to improve the tourism potential of the region were District Governor Metin Esen, Yahyalı Mayor Esat Öztürk and other authorities.​

Condolatory visit to Gaziantep

TOBB M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci visited the families of the victims of the terror attack which took place in Gaziantep and extended their condolences. Taking part in the delegation were Governor Ali Yerlikaya, Mayor Fatma Şahin, Parliamentary Representatives and Municipal Directors.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu praised unity and solidarity of Malatya

In Malatya with the Minister for Customs and Commerce, Bülent Tüfenkci, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Malatya Commodity Exchange Chair Gürsel Özbey at his office, following which he attended the opening of the Malatya CCI’s new building. Hisarcıklıoğlu praised the unity and solidarity of the people of Malatya, pointing out that the traders and industrialists of Malatya have opened up to the world.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with the Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, paid a condolatory visit to Elazığ. The visit began with Elazığ Governor Murat Zorluoğlu followed by a visit to the Provincial Police Headquarters.​

Van Kapıköy Customs Gate will be modernized through TOBB and Ministry cooperation

TOBB’s customs gate modernization project, hailed as best-in-practice by the UN, has mobilized to improve trade in Van and its environs. The foundation has been laid for the modernization of the Van Kapıköy Customs Gate. The project will be undertaken by TOBB and the Customs and Commerce Ministry and will aim to expand the trade volume of the region. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that this investment is the most important step in actualizing Van and its region’s year of 46 years.​

In Van to attend the foundation laying ceremony of the Kapıköy Border Gate in Saray, Van, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his condolences for the bomb attack perpetrated by PKK in the İpekyolu County.​
