President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received the US Chamber of Commerce and members of the American Turkish Council at the Presidential Complex. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was also present at the reception. ​

Speaking at the business dinner held with the participation of Trade Minister Pekcan and US business representatives, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the duties imposed on imports of steel from Turkey by the US administration does not conform to the spirit of alliance between the two countries and affects the iron and steel exports negatively.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, visited the Family Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selcuk. During the visit, opinions were exchanged while evaluations were regarding the common areas of work. ​
