Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB); Hüseyin Çelik, President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK); Mehmet Zafer Kalaycı, Head of the TİTCK Department of Herbal and Dietary Supplements, and industry representatives, the Dietary Supplements Consultation Meeting was hosted by TOBB.​

Technical cooperation meetings were held with the National Food Reference Laboratory and the Ankara Food Control Laboratory to preserve the quality of Turkish Coffee, which is registered as a Traditional Product Name (TSG) in Türkiye, and to strengthen the TSG implementation processes.​

The meeting titled “What Should Türkiye’s Position Be in the ‘Made in Europe’ Process?”, organized in collaboration between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Turkish Economic Policies Research Foundation (TEPAV), was held at TEPAV on November 3, 2026.​

The Tax Advisory Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) met via videoconference, chaired by Board Chairman Fatih Dural. The meeting addressed current changes in tax legislation affecting the business community, as well as upcoming legislative reforms. ​

The conference titled “The Missing Trillion: Mobilizing OIC Capital for Women’s Enterprise Across the Global South” was held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building, organized by the Maida Nazir Organization for Women’s Economic Empowerment (MAIDA), which operates under the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), and co-hosted by the Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB). ​​

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the General Assembly of the Balkan Chambers of Commerce (ABC) held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, and delivered the opening address.​

The Customs and Foreign Trade Workgroup, which operates under the Trade Facilitation Coordination Committee and is co-chaired by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, met online on October 27, 2026.​

To mark the 65th anniversary of the Labor Agreement signed between Türkiye and Germany, the event titled “National Interests, the Need for a Skilled Workforce, and the Dynamics of Brain Drain” was held in Ankara, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

The meeting of the Forest Products Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), which addressed current issues in the sector, was held online with the participation of TOBB Board Member Saim Özakalın, Council Chairman Mahir Arın, and Council members.​

The 48th General Assembly Meeting and 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Region Road Transport Associations Union (BSEC-URTA) were held in İstanbul, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​
