Yavuz: We must recognize the value of wheat
Speaking at the Symposium for Increasing Whole Wheat Bread Consumption, TOBB Board Deputy President and Ankara Commodity Exchange President Faik Yavuz stated that food and drink are the priority for people, “We must recognize the value of wheat.”

Iranian entrepreneurs visit TOBB
Tehran Commerce, Mines and Industry Chamber Vice President Yahya Ale Eshagh and the businessmen accompanying him visited TOBB. The commercial and economic relations between the two countries were assessed during the meeting which was hosted by the TOBB Board Vice President Faik yavuz.

The maritime sector is awaiting incentives
TOBB Turkey Maritime Council convened under Council President Erol Yücel with the attendance of the TOBB Board Vice President Halim Mete in TOBB’s Istanbul Service Building. The meeting wherein incentives were discussed government incentives to be granted to the sector, the survival of the ship building industry, the upkeep of shipyard with new commissions and the importance of the continuation of Turkish shipbuilding renowned internationally for its high quality.

Trainees who found employment via UMEM received their certificates
As part of the UMEM Ability’10 project, ran with the cooperation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Labor and Social Security Ministry, Turkey Employment Institution General Directorate, National Education Ministry and the TOBB University of Economy and Technology, the trainees who found employment after successfully completing their courses in chamber member establishments received their certificates with ceremony.
