Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended an event organized by the Presidency of Defense Industries at the TUSAŞ campus as part of the 2026 NATO Defense Industry Forum. In his message regarding the event, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated, “I am once again proud of our achievements in the defense industry.” ​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden in Ankara. Commenting on the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I met with Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, my dear friend, in Ankara. We exchanged views on Türkiye-Luxembourg and Türkiye-EU relations with Luc Frieden, with whom I served on the Board of Directors during his tenure as President of the European Chambers of Commerce.” ​

The TOBB-U.S. Chamber of Commerce Defense Industry Working Dinner was held under the auspices of M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), with the participation of Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and U.S. Department of Defense Undersecretary Michael Duffey.​​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), presided over the opening ceremony of the Sakarya Commodity Exchange’s new service building.​​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the “Investment and Trade Opportunities in Tatarstan” meeting held in Kazan, hosted by Shamil Agayev, President of the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), was awarded the “Order of Friendship” for his contributions to Türkiye - Tatarstan economic relations.​​

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC). As part of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development meetings, a signing ceremony and gala dinner were held at the TOBB Reception Hall with the participation of chamber representatives from 20 Islamic countries.​​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), along with members of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, conducted inspections at the TOBB Economics and Technology University (TOBB ETÜ), the TOBB ETÜ Technology Center, and the TOBB ETÜ Faculty of Medicine Hospital.​​
