GEKAP should be postponed to 2021

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Recovery Participation Share consultation meeting along with Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdere and Çetin Ali Dönmez and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Birpınar. TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç also attended the online meeting. At the meeting, the problems and demands of the GEKAP process were forwarded to the relevant Ministries.​

Sector’s problems and demands regarding contractor classification regulation discussed

At the video conference meeting organized with the participation of M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment and Urbanization, the problems and demands of the sector were discussed within the scope of the regulation of the classification of contractors.​

EUROCHAMBRES Global Chamber Platform convened online

EUROCHAMBRES Global Chamber Platform meeting took place today. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and Vice President of EUROCHAMBRES and Vice President of EUROCHAMBRES Global Room Platform also attended the meeting and gave information about what happened in Turkey during the Covid-19 process, the measures taken to support the economy and the Turkish economy.​

TOBB and Trendyol's SME support program begins

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Trendyol have launched the “Grow Your Business with Trendyol” SME support program. The program aims to grow the business by reaching millions of customers. Within the scope of the program, online trainings will be organized to explain how to sell for SMEs in Trendyol. Chamber and Commodity Exchange member companies applying to take advantage of the support program will be able to market their goods on Trendyol for a month, up to 30,000TRY with zero commission. This introductory month will begin after the seller has made its products available on the platform.​

TOBB held an international consultation meeting for the post-epidemic period

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are in consultation with all stakeholders at home and abroad from day one in the process of the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, and said, “Now, we are working to understand and adapt to the post-Covid-19 period.”​
