“7% growth is gratifying, support of the service sector should continue”

Evaluating the Turkish economy’s by 7 percent growth in the first quarter of the year, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), stated that the 7 percent growth was gratifying and said, “We want to continue the support steps for our sectors that are most adversely affected by the pandemic and do not get enough share of the growth, especially the service sector.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended an online meeting with top executives of U.S.-based companies along with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. President Erdoğan addressed the participants at the meeting organized by the US Chamber of Commerce, the Presidential Investment Office, the Turkish Embassy in Washington and TOBB. ​

TOBB Breath Credit resumes June 1st

TOBB Breath Credit is being implemented for the 8th time to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on businesses. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As TOBB and 365 Chambers-Exchanges, we have mobilized all our resources.”​

Details of Breath Credits discussed

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that, in cooperation with TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU) and sahibinden.com in the field of education, they have taken the services provided to real estate consultants and second-hand car trading members one step further, adding, “We ensure that they can access compulsory trainings which they were unable to due to the pandemic.”​
