The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and TOBB ETU Board of Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu planted saplings in TOBB ETU Commemorative Forest. Hisarcıklıoğlu was accompanied by TOBB ETU Rector Prof. Dr. Güven Sak.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the meeting on trade and investment bringing together businesspeople from Turkey and Kazakhstan with the participation of Kazakhstan Prime Minister Askar Mamin.​

In addition to Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBB Board Members Hakan Ülken and Özer Matlı, Former Turkish Parliament Speaker, Presidential High Advisory Board Member Cemil Çiçek, Former Minister of Interior Abdulkadir Aksu, Former Minister of Industry and Trade Ali Coşkun, YSK President Şadi Güven, Balıkesir Governor Ersin Yazıcı, Balıkesir Metropolitan Mayor Yücel Yılmaz, Balikesir Commodity Exchange President Ersin Erdoğan and Balıkesir CCI President Rahmi Kula also attended the meeting.​

On the 81st anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our republic, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a message to mark the anniversary, “The bright path he has drawn for us will always be our guide. We will guard his works to the end.”​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry with a delegation accompanying him and conversed with the members of the board of directors. Hisarcıklıoğlu and his delegation then went to the Edirne Commodity Exchange Livestock Sales Hall and examined the sales simulation. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Faculty of Theology of Thrace University, which was opened with the contributions of TOBB. Hisarcıklıoğlu presented students with copies of Nurettin Topçu's book, “Ethics”. ​
