M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), paid a condolence visit to Fatih Karahan, Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, for the passing of his mother, Hatice Karahan. ​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), paid a condolence visit to Osman Sarı, Chairman of the Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the passing of his wife, Hande Sarı. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “May the grace of Allah be upon the departed; I wish her family and loved ones patience and strength. May she rest in peace.” ​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), emphasized that banks have lowered the interest rates they pay on deposits but have not reduced lending rates at the same pace. He said they expect banks to reflect the decline in funding costs on lending rates in the same way and without further delay.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), welcomed Till Oberwörder, President of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) and CEO of Daimler Buses, and the Board of Directors at the Union's headquarters.​

In his assessment of the visit, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “In these days when we face intense competition and challenges in our traditional export markets, exporting to the US presents a significant opportunity. The TOBB Trade Center we opened in Chicago serves as a bridge for our business community to enter the US market.” ​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Chicago Consul General Tahir Bora Atanır and Chicago Trade Advisor Ahmet Samet Tekoğlu at the Turkish Trade Center in Chicago. As part of his US program, Hisarcıklıoğlu discussed common issues in economics and trade with Atanır and Tekoğlu. ​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Bryant Trick, USTR Director for Europe and the Middle East, who coordinates negotiations on US international trade, commodities, and direct investment policy as part of his US itinerary. The meeting focused on evaluating the obstacles facing Türkiye-U.S. trade and the steps that need to be taken. ​
