M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with representatives and employees of companies operating in Chicago. In his assessment of the visit, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “In these days when we face intense competition and challenges in our traditional export markets, exporting to the US presents a significant opportunity. The TOBB Trade Center we opened in Chicago serves as a bridge for our business community to enter the US market.” ​

As part of his US program, Hisarcıklıoğlu discussed common issues in economics and trade with Atanır and Tekoğlu. ​
