Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Erdemli Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met with the Council Members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Silifke Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they found the increase in the minimum wage to be a positive decision.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Anamur District Governor Bilal Bozdemir and Anamur Mayor Hidayet Kılınç at their offices. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Anamur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and consulted with the Council Members.​

TOBB is establishing the Turkish Startup Platform with the support of Google.org. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, while giving the example of the caterpillar needing a cocoon while turning into a butterfly, emphasized that this platform will serve as a 'cocoon' as startups turn into large enterprises. Google Turkey Country Director Keteloğlu pointed out that startups coming out of Turkey attract great attention in the world.​

The 68th General Assembly and Board Meeting of the Turkish National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Turkey) was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Twin Towers Social Facilities in Ankara.​

Speaking at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Economy Council, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the establishment of public-private sector dialogue mechanisms as in the past would be very useful in the reforms to be made regarding the legislation.​

The eighth phase of the “Turkey 100” program, led by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and in cooperation with the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) and TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETU), has begun.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the June Council Meeting of the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry.​

TOBB ETU sent off its 2021-2022 Semester graduates. TOBB ETU Board of Trustees and TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, while calling on graduates not to lose their entrepreneurial spirit, said, “Dream, set goals, work hard and don't be afraid to lose.”​
