M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), received Zeki Kıvanç, TOBB Board Member and Chairman of the Board of Adana Chamber of Industry, and Şeref Can, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ceyhan Chamber of Commerce. ​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), met with Ardahan Governor Hüseyin Öner and Ardahan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Çetin Demirci. During the visit, Hisarcıklıoğlu presented a plaque to the Ardahan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for successfully completing the accreditation audit and gaining the status of “5 star Chamber.” ​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Treasury and Finance Minister Lütfi Elvan for extending VAT and rent withholding discounts, which ended on May 31st, until July 31st in response to the demands of the business world. ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated World Exhibition Day on June 2nd, 2020. Stating that fairs play a vital role in the growth of the economy, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Fairs are our driving force in development.”​

MHP Ankara MP Erkan Haberal, MHP Afyonkarahisar MP Mehmet Taytak and MHP Kütahya MP Ahmet Erbaş, visited of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. While exchanging views during the courtesy visit, Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked Haberal, Taylak and Erbaş for their visits. ​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), participated in the “Contribution of Insurance to the Turkish Economy, Expectations, Opportunities in 2021” panel organized online by the Insurance Association of Turkey within the scope of Insurance Week.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), issued a celebratory message for the Insurance Week, which is held between May 31st and June 4th.​

Evaluating the Turkish economy’s by 7 percent growth in the first quarter of the year, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), stated that the 7 percent growth was gratifying and said, “We want to continue the support steps for our sectors that are most adversely affected by the pandemic and do not get enough share of the growth, especially the service sector.”​
