The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the General Assembly of the Union of Balkan Chambers (ABC) in Tirana, hosted by the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania President Ines Mucostepa.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Adana Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar at his office. The TOBB President expressed his condolences to Karalar who lost his father-in-law recently and discussed the economy of Adana. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with industrialists at the Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ). Consulting with Adana Hacı Sabancı OIZ Chairman Bekir Sütçü, Chamber – Commodity Exchange Presidents and Industrialists from Adana, the TOBB President, listened to their problems and expectations, exchanged views.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Osmaniye Commodity Exchange. Osmaniye Commodity Exchange President Sait Çenet and Council Members met with Hisarcıklıoğlu. Afterwards a commemorative photo was taken. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended a consultation meeting organized jointly by the Osmaniye Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Osmaniye Commodity Exchange. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the city is located at the crossroads connecting Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia to Çukurova, adding, “Osmaniye has the potential to be the trade base of the future because it is close to the port, the airport and the surrounding big cities.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Prof. Dr. Murat Türk, Rector of Korkut Ata University at his office. Hisarcıklıoğlu consulted with Rector Turk at his office which he at arrived by electric car. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Osmaniye Korkut Ata University. Hisarcıklıoğlu was presented with a Ph.D. by Prof. Dr. Murat Türk, Rector of Korkut Ata University. Hisarcıklıoğlu shared his experiences on 'entrepreneurship' with the students after the ceremony.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Kadirli Commodity Exchange President Mehmet Balcılar, and council members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu who attended a joint consultation meeting organized by the Kadirli Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kadirli Commodity Exchange, said that private sector banks have begun reach out to tradesmen to lend after public banks start lending at low interest rates.​
