Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Ordu business world

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Contributors to Ordu’s Economy Award Ceremony organized by the Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ordu Commodity Exchange. Afterwards, he met with the region’s business community for consultation. Hisarcıklıoğlu said he believes that Ordu will open a new era in adding value to hazelnuts.​

OTSO service building opened

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening of the Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OTSO) Service Building. Hisarcıklıoğlu cut the opening ribbon with protocol members. ​

We need to increase the added value of hazelnuts

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, visited Ordu Commodity Exchange President Ziver Kahraman and consulted with Commodity Exchanges Council Members. Hisarcıklıoğlu reminded that Ordu produces 50% of hazelnuts in Turkey, “We have to add value to hazelnuts. We get 2 billion USD in revenue from hazelnuts. They’re adding chocolate into it and reaching 10 billion USD. We should increase the added value of hazelnut with chocolate.”​

Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Ordu Metropolitan Municipality and examined projects of the youth

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Ordu Metropolitan Mayor Dr. M. Hilmi Güler at his office. Hisarcıklıoğlu, together with Güler, examined the projects and received information about them from the students of Dr. Altinordu. M. Hilmi Güler Science and Art Center, Namık Altaş College, Altınordu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Fatih Anatolian High School at the Municipality Building.​

Meeting council members

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Councilor Briefing Seminar. In his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the duty of council members is to enrich the city and to convey the problems of its members. Hisarcıklıoğlu gave a message of unity and solidarity to the councilors and advised, “Never to alienate each other.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and board members, following the TOBB Board Meeting held at the Mersin Chamber of Maritime Commerce, visited the Tarsus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Tarsus Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Hasan Ruhi Koçak, Tarsus Commodity Exchange President Murat Kaya and members of the council.​
