TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a press release regarding the passing of the founder of Kale Group and Honorary President İbrahim Bodur.​

Speaking at the 62nd General Assembly of ICC Turkey, ICC Turkey National Committee and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that a year of great upheavals both internationally and domestically is behind us, “Despite all of these upheavals and uncertainties, our economy retains its dynamism, showing its robust foundations.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated the “Insurance Week” held during the last week of May every year in order to raise awareness to insurance.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his Bara’ah Night press release, stated that this is a night to seek redemption from the Creator; a time for prayer and repentance.​

In his speech at the Rize Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tax Awards Ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has always stood by the private sector, putting great importance on consultation, “We’ve always felt your support closely. You were with us just last week for our Honorable Service Ceremony at our General Assembly. Today, you are hosting us at your home province of Rize and sharing the happiness of our community. I thank you on behalf of the Turkish business community and the Chambers-Exchanges community for your understanding and support.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Beşiktaş football team for their championship in the 2015-2016 Super League. Stating that this victory for Beşiktaş, which was behind the pack for good while, is the result of great effort, unity and solidarity, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I congratulate the whole Beşiktaş community.”​

Bergama Chamber of Commerce Chair Fikret Ürper and the board of directors accompanying him visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office.​

Nobel prize winner in the field of chemistry, Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar visited the heart of the business community, TOBB. Expressing his honor in hosting, “the pride of Turkey,” TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “He has been awarded one of the most prestigious science awards. The fact that someone who thinks like us and is one of us has been awarded this prize will be a great role model for our university students.”​

In his press release for the May 19th Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that May 19th 1919 is a very significant day on which the seeds of resistance against the invading forces of foreign powers, said, “Our Republic and independence, is a charge from Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to our youth. They will carry us on to the level of advanced civilizations. I celebrate this important day of our great nation, which never compromised its honor or independence during its existence.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received Ordu Commodity Exchange Board Chair Ziver Kahraman, Council Chair Yılmaz Akdeniz and the delegation accompanying them.​
