The healthcare sector was discussed during the workshop held in cooperation of TOBB and the US Chamber of Commerce. Speaking at the meeting held at the TOBB Twin Towers and attended by Health Minister Mehmet Müezzinoğlu and representatives of private and public sectors, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out the importance of relations with the USA and Turkey becoming a party to the TTIP to be signed between the USA and the EU would facilitate finding solutions to issues as well as developing trade.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Kyrgyzstan on the invitation of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Almazbek Atambayev.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the second ministry-level meeting held during the 64th government of the Coordination Council for Improvement of Investment Environment in Turkey (YOİKK).​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chair Tahsin Becan and the delegation accompanying him.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with National Defense Minister İsmet Yılmaz. ​

During the meeting attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Faruk Çelik issues regarding bakeries and bread were discussed.​

Attending the Busworld Academy & IRU Congress, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that passenger road transportation is a sector of great importance for the country and said, “Of the highest priority is to ensure that our modes of transportation are in congruity and thereby design our national transportation plan, integrated transportation. Enacting this plan will be a leap forward not just for the sector, but our national economy as a whole. There is much work underway to this end. While they are underway, listening to those involved is important for the correct implementation of the plan’s design.”​

Speaking at the International Domestic Chains 2016 Conference and Expo, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the retail sector is in contact with almost 70% of the economy and emphasized the need for action to strengthen the sector.​

TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Deputy Chair M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the EUROCHAMBRES Presidential Council Meeting hosted by the Italian Chambers Union, Unioncamere in Rome.​

Capital Organized Industry Zone (OIZ) Board of Directors Chair Şadi Türk and the board members accompanying him visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office.​
