Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 3rd Trade Ministry Advisory Board meeting chaired by Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan Department of Commerce.​

Led by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in partnership with Turkey Economic Policies Research Foundation (TEPAV), implemented with European Union finance, the Expert Hands Project (“Mahir Eller” Project) will determine the professional skills of 30,000 people and competence of 20,000 people will be documented; employment will be provided for 3,000 people.​

The Union of Chambers and Stock Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed disagreement with the law proposal which would allow Chamber-Exchange-Union presidents who had to leave their positions in order to take part in parliamentary representative elections to return to previous positions if they were not elected.​

Safranbolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Ali Sami Acar visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Minister of Commerce Ruhsar Pekcan signed a protocol to establish Export Support Offices in 25 Chambers in 16 provinces. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “These offices will inform companies in order to increase the number of exporters; will explain export supports, and they will guide the exporters in every way.”​

Turkey Young Businessmen's Confederation (TÜGİK) Chairman Erkan Güral and his accompanying delegation visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

Speaking at the Joint Meeting of the Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Ankara, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that all the chambers and exchanges in Ankara are working with all the powers to prepare the future for Ankara, “Working together, we will carry Ankara further forward.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, issued a statement regarding the explosion in the ammunition depot of the security station in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari province, resulting in the death of 7 soldiers and the wounding of 25 soldiers.​

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at the Eskişehir Chamber of Industry ESO 50th Anniversary program, said they are passing through a turbulent period, but they would overcome it by maintaining unity and solidarity.​
