Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Tamer Kıran, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Turkish-German Economic Meeting held in Istanbul as part of the 30th Anniversary of the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Venture Capital Council meeting was held online with the participation of TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci and TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, under the chairmanship of Council President Altan Küçükçınar, with great interest from the Council members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Cosmetics and Cleaning Products Industry Council Meeting was held at TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Ahmet Pura, Council President with the participation of Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB, with the intense interest of senior representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Private Security Services Council visited Deputy Minister of Interior Münir Karaloğlu, Director General of Security Erol Ayyıldız and President of Private Security Supervision Suat Çelik with a delegation formed under the leadership of Council President Serdar Gökhan Arıkan for June 26-30 Private Security Week and held consultations on sectoral developments.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee convened via video conference with the participation of the Committee members.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council meeting was held at Ankara Union Center with the participation of TOBB Vice President Ender Yorgancılar and TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç and with the participation of sector representatives under the chairmanship of Council Chairman Ali Kantur.​

Representatives of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) attended the “Stakeholder Analysis and Governance Training” given within the scope of the Capacity Building Project for the Development and Implementation of Smart Specialization Strategies in Türkiye (CEDIS3) on 24-27 June 2024. ​

The first meeting of the “Water Efficiency Sub-Committee” established under the National Water Board, which was established to ensure high-level coordination and cooperation for the effective management and efficient use of water resources, was held. ​

TOBB Board Member President Ali Çandır and TOBB President Advisor Hasan Çağlayan Dündar visited Prof. Dr. Muhammed Zeki Durak, President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. During the visit, the role and cooperation areas of TOBB and the Chamber-Exchange community in the fields of YÖREX (Local Products Fair) to be held on October 9-13, geographical indications, trademarks, patents, designs and utility models were discussed. ​

TOBB Board Member President Ali Çandır and TOBB President Advisor Hasan Çağlayan Dündar visited Ahmet Şimşek, General Director of Development Agencies of the Ministry of National Education, and discussed their expectations and current developments regarding YÖREX (Local Products Fair) and the agricultural sector. ​
