Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The g3 (Future Power Entrepreneurs) Forum, which is Turkey's largest event in the field of entrepreneurship, was held for the first time in Mersin this year with the theme of “Ideas are a Matter of Mentality, Not Age” for high school students in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Habitat Association, GEN Turkey, Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yenişehir Municipality, Mersin Provincial Directorate of National Education.​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35) prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 919 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in May 2022.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Capital Market Council Meeting was held at the TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Sudi Aydemir with the participation of Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Murat Zaman.​

The Advisory Board of the Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol met at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

While the digital tachograph contactless application system completes its first year, regional Chamber trainings continue.​

The TIR Committee, appointed by the TOBB Board of Directors for a period of two years, convened via video conference on June 03.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz received Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mahamadi Savadogo and the accompanying delegation. ​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in May 2022 decreased by 4.5% (158 units) compared to May 2021 (3,540 units) and reached 3,382 units.​

Within the scope of the sector information activities carried out within the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the “Information Sector Supports E-Turquality (Stars of Informatics) Meeting” was held in Ankara under the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce.​

Within the framework of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Employees Qualified Orientation Program, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Risk-Based Process Management Training was given by the Turkish Standards Institute on June 3, 2022. ​
