Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The accounting training program organized by TOBB in regards to the Law #5174 and relevant legislation, as well as the issues Chambers and Exchanges face in the application of said legislation has begun with the attendance of county chambers.​

The seventh “Turkey’s Women Entrepreneur Power” meeting was held in Isparta.​

TOBB Turkey Education Council convened under Council Chair Dr. Yusuf Ekinci with the attendance of National Education Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Muammer Yıldız.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 17,71%, 13,64% and 9,25% respectively, according to the previous month.​

Work in regards to the Domestic Product Certification was evaluated at a meeting hosted by TOBB with the attendances of interested institutions and organizations, presided over by Science, Industry and Technology Ministry Industry Department Director Dr. İbrahim Kılıçaslan.​

Held in partnership by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and Adana Chamber of Industry (ADASO), the a meeting with the goal of providing information on the “Participation of Syrians in the Job Market as Part of Temporary Asylum” was held at the Adana Chamber of Industry.​

Aegean Region Industry Chamber held a meeting in order to provide information regarding the work permits and employment for the Syrian refugees present in Turkey which entered into effect as of the 15th of January, 2016.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Board Vice Chair Halim Mete, stating that TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has not contacted CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in regards to the 72nd TOBB General Assembly, directly or via proxy, and said, “CHP Former Ankara Parliamentary Representative Sinan Aygün called Hisarcıklıoğlu while he was meeting with Kılıçdaroğlu, handing the phone over to Kılıçdaroğlu while speaking with Hisarcıklıoğlu.”​

The 9th Local Schengen Group Business Community Visa Briefing Meeting organized by the TOBB and EU Delegation was held at the Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Board Vice Chair Halim Mete attended the thirdLogistics Coordination Council meeting.​
