TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Science, Industry and Technology Minister Faruk Özlü at the meeting which took place at the ministry.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the delegation from Sivas including TOBB Chambers of Commerce and Industry Council and Sivas CCI Chair Osman Yıldırım, Sivas Parliamentary Representatives Hilmi Bilgin, Mehmet Habip Soluk and Selim Dursun, Sivas Governor Davut Gül, Sivas Mayor Sami Aydın, Sivas CCI Council Chair Necati Şahin as well as the members of Sivas CCI Board.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his address to commemorate the 78th anniversary of Atatürk’s passing, said, “As the Turkish business community, we once again reiterate our conviction and our determination to serve and embrace.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 5th Craftsmen and Artisans Summit held at the ATO Congresium with the attendances of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that the Union has reached an agreement with Denizbank to provide SMEs with credit with under 10% annual interest rates and that negotiations with other banks is also under way. Hisarcıklıoğlu state that annual commercial credit interest rates, which reached 18%, will fall to 9.9%.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that the contacts made by Turkish businesspeople in Bahrain have been very successful, culminating in a meeting with Gulf businessmen in regards to a 380mn USD business negotiation.​

In Bahrain for the 2nd TOBB-FGCCC Business and Investment Forum, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci met with Bahrain Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa at his offices. ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his address at the 2nd TOBB-FGCCC Business and Investment Forum, that Turkey and Gulf countries want to engage in more business together.​

Turkish business community is discussing cooperation opportunities with Gulf countries, a market with a total GDP of 1.7 trillion USD. A delegation of 250 businessmen lead by TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu will attend the business and investment forum in Bahrain. Close to 300 companies from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia as well as 60 Turkish companies operating in these countries will seek partnership and cooperation opportunities.​

Adıyaman Office of the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) and TSE Adıyaman Provincial Office were opened with the attendances of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci at the Adıyaman CCI service building.​
