Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the first eight months of the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 0,6% and 29,5% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 19,5% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

Selçuk Öztürk, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), delivered a speech at the Kyrgyzstan-Türkiye Business Forum organized by TOBB, the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, and DEİK, with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Chairman of the Kyrgyzstan Cabinet of Ministers Adilbek Kasymaliyev. Following the Business Forum, bilateral meetings were held between Turkish and Kyrgyz companies. ​

Hub of Warehouse, held at the Istanbul Fair Center - New Generation Warehouse Systems and Internal Logistics Fair, held at the Istanbul Fair Center, TOBB Transportation and Logistics Systems Department TIR Operations Directorate Specialist Burak Ercan Erdoğan participated as a panelist in the “Value-Added Logistics Strategies” panel organized with the support of the International Transportation and Logistics Service Providers Association (UTİKAD).​

The 5th meeting of the Digitalization Workgroup, organized under the Black Sea Economic Cooperation - Union of Road Transport Associations (BSEC-URTA), was held online at the TOBB Presidency.​

The Insurance Sector Consultation Meeting hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye was attended by Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Osman Çelik, Chairman of the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK) Davut Menteş and SEDDK officials, TOBB Vice Chairman Ender Yorgancılar, TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş, Levent Korkut, Chairman of the Insurance Agents Executive Committee, and members of the Executive Committee; Ahmet Nedim Erdem, Chairman of the Insurance Experts Executive Committee, and members of the Executive Committee; Uğur Gülen, Chairman of the Turkish Insurance, Reinsurance and Pension Companies Association, and the Association Management; Cenk Ecevit, President of the Brokers Association, and the Association Management, Serkan Avcı, Director of the Insurance Information and Supervision Center, and the Coordinator Team, Ahmet Saygın Baban, TOBB Director of Sectors and Entrepreneurship, Mevlüt Söylemez, TOBB Insurance Director, and Insurance Directorate experts.​

As part of the Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System activities, a Quality Management System Process Improvement and Risk Management Training was organized at TOBB on September 15-16, 2025, for the 4th-6th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​

The 4th meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs High Council was held online, chaired by TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) President Nurten Öztürk, with the participation of TOBB Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department Head A. Saygın Baban and high council members.​

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Health and with the participation of Health Minister Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, a delegation consisting of members of the TOBB Türkiye Pharmaceutical Industry Council and the TOBB Türkiye Medical Council paid a field visit to the People’s Republic of China.​

The Climate Change and Adaptation Coordination Council convened at the Bilkent Hotel in Ankara, chaired by Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Murat Kurum.​

The TOBB Türkiye Mining Council has expressed its support for the statement made by Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar regarding the incentive package aimed at increasing domestic coal production.​
