Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

A meeting was held with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Supreme Board Member Nurtaç Ziyal Afridi and A. Saygın Baban, Head of TOBB Sectors and Entrepreneurship Department.​

Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Türkiye-UAE Joint Economic and Trade Commission (JETCO) 2nd Term Meeting held in Abu Dhabi with the participation of Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat and Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 4th Agriculture and Forestry Council Agricultural Economics Workshop, where İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, and Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Treasury and Finance, took part as speakers.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in March 2025 decreased by 5.7% (253) compared to February 2025 and reached 4,179.​

Türkiye Health Services Council was held under the supervision of TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken with the participation of the Council members under the chairmanship of the Council President Banu Küçükel.​

HIT-30 Investment Program Private Sector Information Webinar was held in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology with the presentations of Merve Yasemen Atalay, Deputy Minister Advisor, and Armağan Atalay, Expert.​

Ali Kantur, Chairman of the Waste and Recycling Industry Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), and the accompanying delegation visited Director General of Customs Mustafa Gümüş in his office. During the visit, the problems experienced at customs during waste imports and the latest developments in import regulations were discussed. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Civil Aviation Council Meeting was held in İstanbul under the chairmanship of Bilal Ekşi, President of the Council, with the participation of Şekib Avdagiç, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB.​

During the first two months of the year 2025 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives decreased by 3,1% and 25,0% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 7,8% according to the same period of the year 2024.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Road Passenger Transportation Council Meeting was held in İstanbul under the chairmanship of Council President Mustafa Yıldırım.​
