Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Hasan Murat Mercan, the appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Washington, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and met with TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, speaking at the opening ceremony of the TOBBUYUM Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center, stated that the legal system is the main pillar of not only the state but also of the economy, “If the sense of justice and trust is strong in a country, the economy of that country will be strong.” Justice is like a polar star, it stands still. Everything else revolves around it.’That is why the balance of justice must be preserved.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received Sinop Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Salim Akbaş and the accompanying board members. ​

Çanakkale Governor İlhami Aktaş and accompanying Canakkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Selçuk Semizoglu, Çanakkale Commodity Exchange President Kaya Üzen, Biga Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Şadan Doğan, Gelibolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Bülent Çetin and Bayramic Chamber of Agriculture President İsmail Pehlivan visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu,speaking at the Turkey-EU High Level Economic Dialogue event organized by video conference of EUROCHAMBRES Turkey-EU Business Dialogue (TEBD), stated that they see the Green Deal and the green economy as a new model for Turkey's growth and transformation, “We need a transformation agenda in accordance with the European Union (EU) Green Deal. We believe it would be useful for the EU to provide financial assistance to support this process.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the Ayvalık Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors President Mustafa Büyükçıvgın at his office. ​

Arslan Keleş, the Black Sea Ereğli Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors President, along with Secretary General Gün Acar, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. An exchange of views took place during the meeting. ​

The March 8th International Women's Day Event of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) was held with the participation of Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu held talks within the scope of his visit to the TRNC, was, along with Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, received by the Speaker of the TRNC Republican Assembly Önder Sennaroğlu and Prime Minister Ersan Saner. ​
