Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The 2020 opening event of the EU Information Centers Network in Turkey Support Project was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) with the participation of EU Delegation to Turkey President Christian Berger.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Organized Industry Zones Supreme Board (OSBÜK) and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources have initiated the first of the Energy Efficiency Training sessions for industrialists consuming 500 TEP and above energy. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member Hakan Ülken attended the Pakistan-Turkey Business and Investment Forum held in Islamabad on the occasion of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Pakistan. Before the Forum, Ülken also met with representatives of the Turkish side of the Turkey-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum in Islamabad. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Road Passenger Transportation Council convened in Istanbul to elect the Executive Council and to make the overall assessment of the sector under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Tamer Kıran. ​

The 2nd meeting of Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum Turkish Wing was held at TOBB Union Center under the chairmanship of the Turkish-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum Co-Chair and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Member M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu.​

World Bank Ease of Doing Business Index “Start-up Workshop” was hosted by TOBB with the participation of the Presidential Investment Office, World Bank officials and various other relevant institutions and organizations.​

Cooperation between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to support women entrepreneurs has been signed.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Presidential Council Member Faik Yavuz met with Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President of the Turkish and Middle East Department of the US Chamber of Commerce, and the delegation accompanying him.​

Faik Yavuz, Board Treasurer of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the Opening Ceremony of the Information Technology and Communication Authority, National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM). ​

Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended a working dinner hosted by Dominick Chilcott, the United Kingdom Ambassador to Ankara, which saw discussion on trade relations between Turkey and the United Kingdom following Brexit. ​
