“Innovative Ankara Project Market” opened
Speaking at the opening of the “Innovative Ankara Project Market” event held in cooperation with the Ankara Development Agency and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), TOBB Board Vice President Faik Yavur stated that the fact the event is being held in Ankara, nominally known as a public administration city, is indication that the industry in Turkey is headed to the right direction.

Health institutions request support for closing the nurse gap
TOBB Turkey Health Institutions Council members requested that Emergency Medical Personnel (ATT) and other health workers are able to become nurses. Council Member İrfan Görgülü stated upon consulting with YÖK and Health Minister Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ they have relayed their suggestions and views in resolving the issue.

The medical sector turns its gaze to the Pricing Commission
TOBB Turkey Medical Council met in Ankara TOBB Union Center with Özgür İncekara presiding. During the meeting the council members stated that the “Social Security Institiution Health Application Rescript” (SUT) prices have not been updated in a long time, that the Health Services Pricing Commission’s structure and the sector’s representation in the Commission’s is insufficient.

“Speculation rumors regarding iron and steel prices are groundless”
TOBB Turkey Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Council convened at TOBB to discuss the current issues of the sector. The main discussion of the meeting was regarding the developments in construction iron prices, Council President Veysel Yayan stated that speculation rumors regarding iron and steel prices are groundless and that the truth has been proven with documensts.
