Of the 2,728 capacity reports verified in April, 717 were in İstanbul, 188 in Bursa, 171 in Ankara, 163 in İzmir, 105 in Konya, 96 in Gaziantep, 91 in Kocaeli, 81 in Tekirdağ, 70 in Adana, 65 in Manisa.​

Turkish Research and Private Sector Organizations Office (TuR&Bo) held its 2016 General Assembly and Coordination Council Meetings.​

TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay attended the 7th Sarajevo Business Forum organized by Bosnia Bank International and Islamic Development Bank.​

Palestinian Industrial Estates & Free Zones Authority (PIEFZA) CEO Dr. Ali Shaath and the delegation accompanying him visited TOBB and met with TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz.​

TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç represented the Turkish private sector at a consultative meeting in Qatar as a part of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu’s official visit.​

Officially backed by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Treasury and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) held in cooperation with Exchange İstanbul, Prime Ministry Investment and Promotion Agency; organized by the Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group (AIWA), the 11th Turkish Arab Economy Forum (TAF’2016) has begun.​

Turkic Council 4th Business Forum and Turkic Business Council 4th Meeting took place on April 28th, 2016, at the Damas Hotel in Bishkek. Attending the Business Forum were around 50 businesspeople from 4 countries.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 11,59%, %37,50 and 5,24% respectively according to the previous month.​

In partnership with the Turkish Atom Energy Authority and organized by the TOBB-CERN Industry Contact Office, the CERN – Turkey University-Industry Cooperation Conference was held with TOBB hosting the event.​

TOBB Board Members Selçuk Öztürk and Memiş Kütükcü attended the Turkey-Iran Business Forum held as a part of the Turkey-Iran 25th Term Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meetings.​
