Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the Balıkesir Provincial Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Consultation Meeting held at the Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce Service Building. Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated the private sector community for the success of the city's employment mobilization.​

Health Minister Ahmet Demircan visited the the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) ETU Technology Center and received information about the work being conducted. Minister Demircan was accompanied by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu during the visit.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a letter of condolence for Prof. Dr. Şükrü Kızılot, tax expert, academy and journalist, stating that Kızılot was one of Turkey's leading tax experts and economy writers.​

M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), issued a letter of condolence for Feyyaz Berker, one of the founding partners of Tekfen Holding, one of the important names of business community.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu and Muğla Governor Esengül Civelek, together with the chamber and exchange presidents accompanying them, visited the Milas Museum of Hekatomnos Long Home Rescue Excavation in the town of Milas as a part of his Muğla itinerary.​

Speaking at the Milas Economy Pioneers Award Ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Milas has the potential to become one of the new shining stars of Turkey and tourism.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with his delegation visited Muğla Governor Esengül Civelek at her office. Governor Civelek and Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged views on developments and projects in the city.​

As a part of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey’s “81 Schools in 81 Provinces,” foundations for the TOBB Science High School were laid at the Menteşe district Yeniköy neighborhood. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of education in his address. We’ve learned that the facility will be complete in a year and will boast an area of 6,110 square meters, 16 classrooms and 480 students.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the new service building of the Muğla Commodity Exchange. Speaking at a meeting hosted by Muğla Commodity Exchange Chair Hasan Gökmen, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that Muğla is a city of history and tourism as well as an agricultural city at the same time. On the subject of partnership culture, the TOBB President stated that the way to win and succeed in trade is through good partnership culture.​

"Kapurcuk Culture and Gastronomy House" was opened in Muğla in the province of Marmaris to promote the city's culture and gastronomy, which will encourage the revival of lost professions. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Grace and prosperity in unity; anguish in dissent. If we want to go further and become richer, there is no other way but unity.”​
