TOBB ETU Computer Team wins gold in the International Olympiad in Informatics
The 23rd International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) was held in Thailand between the 22nd and 29th of July. Our country was represented by a team of six consisting of Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatih Demirci (Lead Contestant), Barış Kaya (Contestant), Buğrahan Şahin (Contestant), Erman Köseoğlu (Contestant) and Abdullah Alperen (Contestant) under the leadership of the TOBB ETU Education Staff Member Asst. Prof. Dr. Osman Abul.

Commerce Registry Officials meet at TOBB for a training meeting
The Commerce Registry Officials Training Program convened at the TOBB Social Facilities Meeting Hall. Conducting the opening speech of the meeting, TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz reminded that there were changes to the legislation and that their aim was to provide information to commerce registry officials regarding said changes.

Food sector is troubled by misinformation about processed foods
Members of the TOBB Turkey Food Industry Council emphasized the damage of unfounded news made regarding processed foods. Council members stated that there were erroneous news regarding Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) and as a result, Russia has stopped importing tomatoes and cucumbers.
