Under the partnership of TOBB and TÜBİTAK, the National Nuclear Technology Development Program held its first preparatory meeting at TOBB as per the decision made at the Science and Industry High Council (BTYK) 29th Meeting in February in order to achieve naturalization of technology in nuclear plant projects.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 43,60%, 50,59% and 48,28% respectively, according to the previous month.​

113 Exchanges connected to TOBB met in Ankara at the TOBB Twin Towers. Discussed during the consultation meeting were the future of the agriculture market, licensed warehousing and the Product Specialized Exchange planned to be established.​

Economic Cooperation Organization Chambers of Commerce and Industry Committee Meetings took place in Tehran, hosted by Iran Commerce, Industries, Mining and Agriculture Chamber.​

TOBB Turkey Durable Consumer Goods Council held its July meeting in İstanbul. During the meeting, information regarding the TOBB’s correspondence with relevant Ministries was provided followed by discussions on the various issues on the agenda.​

As a part of the cooperation protocol signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Vocational Proficiency Institution (MYK), the national standards and proficiency for positions of “project manager,” “public relations/communications expert,” and “facility/administration manager” will be defined.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) verified 1,472 capacity reports in July.​

TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay attended the 14th Turkish Design Consultation Council Meeting held at the Science, Industry and Technology Ministry.​

The Coordination Council for the Improvement of Investment Environment in Turkey (YOİKK) convened at the Prime Ministry Headquarters under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli. Attending the meeting in addition to TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz were Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Treasury Minister Naci Ağbal, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ, Development Minister Lütfi Elvan, Science, Industry and Technology Minister Faruk Özlü, Labor and Social Security Minister Süleyman Soylu, Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci. Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli stated in his speech that the economic situation has recovered to what it was prior to the July 15th coup attempt in short time, “The sensible and rational stance of the economic administration has been instrumental in minimizing the effects of July 15th coup attempt and recovering rapidly.” ​

Turkey Software Council convened under TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay in İstanbul. Cengiz Günay stated the need to convey to our international trade partners the facts regarding the situation in Turkey following the coup attempt of July 15th, impressing upon them that only a 3%-4% has taken place in the markets, that there is no obstacle for investments and that Turkey will maintain its stance for freedom and democracy.​
