The defense industry sets its goal higher
Attending the TOBB Defense Industry Council meeting, Defense Industry Undersecretary Murad Bayar stated that the sector has achieved its export and contribution goals set in the 2077-2011 Strategic Plan, and that in the coming term, especially in exports, logistical services and state acquisitions, growth of the sector will continue.

YOİKK Steering Committee convened hosted by TOBB
The Coordination Council for the Improvement of Investment Environment in Turkey (YOIKK) Steering Committee held its 44th Meeting on the 28th of June hosted by TOBB in order to form the 2012-2013 action plans for the Technical Committees.

TOBB ETU’s international success
TOBB University of Economy and Technology (TOBB ETU) Foreign Languages Department’s “Beyond Language: Extracurricular Activities In Student-Centric Communicative Foreign Language Studies” Project won the EU Ministry’s 2012 European Language Award. TOBB ETU, which won the award once before in 2006, has once again shown its prowess in the field of foreign language education.

Chambers and exchanges briefed on the accreditation system
As part of the accreditation system conducted by TOBB, the secretaries general and personnel of unaccredited chambers and exchanges were briefed on the system at the TOBB Social Facilities with an attendance of around 180 people.

Agriculture and food safety training took place in Antalya
Coordinated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the “Agriculture and Food Product Safety (HACCP-ISO 22000)” training was held in Antalya. Members of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the training give by Food safety expert Robert Mitchell.
