Turkey Soil Industry Products Council meeting took place at TOBB to discuss the issues of the sector.​

TOBB Turkey Natural Gas Council convened under Council Chair İbrahim Akbal at the TOBB Twin Towers.​

Of the 1,651 capacity reports verified in September, 410 were in İstanbul, 135 in Bursa, 108 in Ankara, 131 in İzmir, 63 in Kocaeli, 58 in Gaziantep, 57 in Konya, 45 in Adana, 44 in Denizli and 38 in Tekirdağ.​

TOBB Turkey Automotive Subsidiary Industry Council convened in Ankara to conduct its elections.​

TOBB Board Member Selçuk Öztürk attended Development Minister Lütfü Elvan’s official Saudi Arabia visit on the 5th and 6th of October in Riyadh and Jeddah.​

TOBB Turkey Air Conditioning Council discussed issues and proposals to be put forth at the Economy Summit. Issues discussed were prevention of unfair competition, installation technology and air conditioning specialized vocational schools as well as incentives regarding energy efficiency.​

As a part of the Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts, ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Management System Training was conducted for the Secretaries General and Accreditation Officers of 12th Term Chamber/Exchanges at the TOBB Social Facilities Şefik Tokat Hall on the 3rd and 4th of October, 2016.​

Turkey Chemicals Industry Council convened under Council Chair Timur Erk to discuss the issues facing the sector.​

The SME Information Site was visited by 38,133 people in September 2016. The total number of hits between October 2015 and September 2016, a period of one year, was 496,028.​​​​​

The sole legal representative of all insurance agencies active in Turkey, TOBB Insurance Agencies Executive Committee Chair Hüseyin Kasap stated that the traffic insurance premiums have still not been lowered to the desired levels and to that end various precautions are being taken by the Undersecretariat of the Treasury and that the premium query page under Insurance Information and Monitoring Center will be made available in October.​
