Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

United Nations (UN) Under-Secretary-General and United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) Gyan Chandra Acharya visited TOBB. He reviewed the possible contributions of TOBB in regards to the LDC Mid-term Review Meeting to be held in Antalya from the 26th to the 29th of May, 2016 with the TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz.​

The number of Capacity Reports in 2014 increased by 0.85% in 2015, from 71,825 to 72,433.​

Attending the meeting held at the Economy Ministry as per the 64th Governmental 2016 Action Plan / Activities and Reforms Chapter 200th Article presided over by Undersecretary İbrahim Şenel was Board Member Memiş Kütükcü representing TOBB.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 12,13%, 53,97% and 50,53%, respectively according to the previous month. The number of closed companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 151,93%, 147,06% and 48,18%, respectively according to the previous month.​

The number of newly established companies and sole proprietorships increased by 6,29% and 9,23%, respectively, while cooperatives decreased by 7,35% according to the previous month.​

TOBB will act to identify and solve issues encountered by the Turkish business community in Russia.​

The number of newly established companies decreased by 1,65% while, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 21,43% and 3,74%, respectively, according to the previous month. The number of closed companies decreased by 5,57% while, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 20,65% and 10,08%, respectively, according to the previous month. ​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 4,80%, 19,15% and 1,94%, respectively, according to the previous month.​

The Turkey – CERN Industry Cooperation Conference was held at the TOBB Union Center, providing information regarding CERN Procurement and Industrial Services Group’s tenders and procurement processes.​

TOBB Board Vice President Halim Mete attended dinner with OECD ambassadors held at the unofficial annual retreat.​
