Education Council visited National Education Minister Yılmaz
Turkey Education Council Board visited the National Education Minister İsmet Yılmaz to congratulate him. The meeting attended by Council Chair Yusuf Ekinci, Vice Chair Faruk Köprülü, Council Advisor Alipaşa Ayas as well as TOBB Representatives saw discussion on teacher assignments, textbook publishing and training qualified teachers. İsmet Yılmaz emphasized the importance of public and private sector cooperation for increasing education quality.

Şeref Fayat elected Ready-made Garment Council Chair
TOBB Turkey Clothing and Ready-made Garment Council held its Council Chair Election Meeting in İstanbul presided over by TOBB Board Member İbrahim Burkay. As the only candidate Turkey Clothing Industry Association Chair Şeref Fayat was unanimously elected as Council Chair.

LPG Sector convened at TOBB
TOBB Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council meeting took place in Ankara to discuss the issues facing the sector. During the meeting, current issues, possible solutions and legislative changes were discussed.

Expo sector focuses on branding

Çağlar: “We are continuing to produce, open up to the world and grow”
TOBB Board Vice President İbrahim Çağlar attended the round table meeting of TOBB and the US Chamber of Commerce held in New York with the attendance of Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci. Speaking at the meeting attended by the representatives of prominent US companies, İbrahim Çağlar provided information regarding the efforts to proliferate economic relations with the US Chamber of Commerce since 2012 in light of the coup attempt of July 15th as well as general information in regards to Turkey’s economy.
