Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

As a part of the Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts, “Accreditation Standard Revision Information Training” was held for the Secretaries General and Accreditation Officers of the 4th, 6th and 9th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges.​

The Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization Workgroup meeting was held in Karaman at the ISKUR Service Building. Attending the meeting were İŞKUR Branch Manager Metin Akgül, Karaman Commodity Exchange Representative Güler Tatlıpınar and Karaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Representative Nuri Eren.​

TOBB Board Member İbrahim Burkay attended the 30th Conference of the Asia-Pacific Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) on the 23rd and 24th of November 2016 in Taipei, Taiwan. TOBB has been a member of CACCI since 2009 and has been the Vice Chair since 2014.​

The International Black Sea Transportation Forum held in Istanbul addressed the subject of “50 Years of TOBB's Sponsorship of TIR in Turkey" at the 2016 TOBB Special Session.​

International Black Sea Transportation Forum 2016 Gala Dinner was held in Istanbul hosted by TOBB.​

TOBB Turkey Cement and Cement Products Assembly Meeting was held with the participation of high level representatives of public institutions, the private sector and non-governmental organizations presided by Council Speaker Şefik Tüzün at the TOBB Social Facilities.​

The third meeting of the Turkish Brand Monitoring Committee was held at the Ministry of Economy. TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay attended the meeting representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.​

Accreditation training of the 12th Term Chambers/ Exchanges, which began their accreditation process in 2015, were continued with "Pre-Auditing Information Training" held at the TOBB Social Facilities in the Şefik Tokat Hall.​

Mediation Training for the Supreme Court of Appeals Members conducted by TOBB ETÜ - SEM was held at TOBB Twin Towers. After the 6-day training program, the participants were presented with certificates.​

Work was started in Kütahya in regards to the Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization Protocol signed between the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the General Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​
