Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

ICC Pakistan National Committee Chair Tariq M. Rangoonwala visited TOBB and met with TOBB Treasurer and ICC Turkey National Committee Vice Chair Faik Yavuz.​

TOBB – Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Memorandum of Agreement has been signed by TOBB Board Vice President Halim Mete and Islamic Development Bank Chair Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali.​

The number of newly established companies increased by 11,72% while, cooperatives and sole proprietorships decreased by 39,18% and 6,08%, respectively, according to the previous month.​

TOBB Board Vice President Ali Kopuz, in his speech at the Central Asia Investment Forum, talked about the cooperation between the Union and Central Asian countries, stating that the establishment of joint trade and industry chambers is on the agenda.​

TOBB Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the Turkish Cypriot Economy in Federal Cyprus Project end report launch meeting hosted by the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (TCCC).​

TOBB Board Member Memiş Kütükçü attended the reception hosted by the Iranian Embassy at the Swiss Hotel commemorating the 37th anniversary of the Iranian Islamic Revolution.​

United Nations (UN) Under-Secretary-General and United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) Gyan Chandra Acharya visited TOBB. He reviewed the possible contributions of TOBB in regards to the LDC Mid-term Review Meeting to be held in Antalya from the 26th to the 29th of May, 2016 with the TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz.​

The number of Capacity Reports in 2014 increased by 0.85% in 2015, from 71,825 to 72,433.​

Attending the meeting held at the Economy Ministry as per the 64th Governmental 2016 Action Plan / Activities and Reforms Chapter 200th Article presided over by Undersecretary İbrahim Şenel was Board Member Memiş Kütükcü representing TOBB.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 12,13%, 53,97% and 50,53%, respectively according to the previous month. The number of closed companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 151,93%, 147,06% and 48,18%, respectively according to the previous month.​
